Description
The flight interception trap is designed based on the behavior of many beetles, which often “play dead” as a defense mechanism when they sense danger. When beetles fly into the trap’s vertical baffle, they feign death and drop into collection trays below. These trays can be filled with preservative solutions such as water, alcohol, or propylene glycol to prevent the insects from escaping once they fall in.
